This recording is my first album production. Of my own creation, this recording was made in Chung Yuan recording studio, which has very limited space.
First, the recording of each instrument was done separately. Some of them are not real instruments, but instead are virtual instruments. These made the combination of original tracks sound lacking in space consistency. Also, the balance between instruments still needed to be adjusted carefully. Even so, it was a great opportunity to cultivate my mixing skills.
Besides needing to adjust the scales of fader and panning, I mainly used different kinds of IR reverb, including plate RV, hall RV, and room RV to accommodate the insufficient space. By doing this, the mask problem could also be solved by carefully arranging the space for each instrument.
